Author Biography

W.G. Paladin has been delving into dangerous dungeons and battling dragons since his first encounter with Dungeons & Dragons at the age of eight. A lifelong reader and imaginative storyteller, he draws inspiration from the legendary worlds of science fiction and fantasy greats.

After serving over 20 years as a Firefighter/EMT in both military and civilian roles, William set out on a new adventure: returning to college. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing with Honors from Southern New Hampshire University in December 2024.

During his time at SNHU, the Witch of White Stone series was born. His breakout novels—A Caged Witch, The Witch of White Stone, and Devastation: The Fall of the Quickfoot—weave together themes of romance, courage, and identity against a backdrop of magic and mystery.

Paladin met his wife at Gen Con in 2012, shortly after returning from his service in the U.S. Air Force. What began as a fast friendship soon blossomed into love, and they married in 2017. In 2021, they welcomed their daughter into the world—a life-changing moment that deepened his passion for storytelling.

Drawn to writing from an early age, Paladin’s work explores themes of love, acceptance, and self-discovery. He hopes readers from all walks of life can find themselves within his stories. Above all, he dreams that one day his daughter will read his books and be inspired to embrace her uniqueness and forge her own path.

Influenced by authors like J.K. Rowling and J.R.R. Tolkien, W.G. Paladin crafts emotionally rich and immersive tales for both young adult and adult readers—stories filled with heartfelt adventure, complex characters, and a touch of magic.
